Free tax help available for CA and NV residents of all ages

There is free tax return preparation available for California and Nevada taxpayers of all ages with low-to-moderate incomes through the AARP Tax-Aide program February 8 through April 14 at the Lake Tahoe Senior Center.

No appointment is necessary! You must bring your social security card, photo ID, 2017 tax return documents, and a copy of your 2016 tax return. All tax returns are prepared and filed on site with no cost to the taxpayer.

Hours are Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Their last client is taken 30 minutes before they close.

The Lake Tahoe Senior Center is located at 3050 Lake Tahoe Boulevard, South Lake Tahoe, Calif.
