The Nevada Rural Housing Authority (NRHA) has named DeBug Computer, Inc., “Most Valuable Partner, ” in providing guidance, support and solutions in implementing major software changes at the rural housing agency.

“You can imagine the trepidation we had as this had the potential to create huge headaches; but, that didn’t happen thanks to DeBug Computer, Inc.,” said CJ Manthe, NRHA Chief Financial Officer. She said, “They not only helped us pick the right equipment, but they installed everything necessary and prepared us for training. They helped us every step of the way so we avoided downtime and kept us on schedule.”

The software changes replace NRHA’s current accounting and client application software used in its rental assistance operations. Additionally, NRHA added a new software module to handle its construction management needs for its relatively new Real Estate division and multiple ground-up development and rehabilitation projects. The new software offers new technology and is web based improving operations and efficiencies.

“We are converting massive amounts of data, thousands of vendor records, client records and so on,” said Manthe, “Of course, much of what the DeBug staff had to accomplish couldn't be done during a work day. So, they did whatever was necessary to get us where we needed to be. As we wrap up this project, they continually impress us with their ability to exceed our expectations.”

Keith Barham, DeBug Computer President said, “We consider our clients like members of our family.” He added, “We have tremendous loyalty to NRHA and its staff. Their success is our top priority and we appreciate their business.”

For nearly 40 years, the NRHA has improved the quality of life for tens of thousands of Nevadans by providing innovative home ownership programs, community development and rental assistance in rural Nevada. For more information on the NRHA or its programs, call 775-887-1795 or visit www.nvrural.org.
