Tahoe Peak Bagger Deluxe: For the 10,000’+ Crowd

Event Date:
July 21, 2018 - 7:30am

Have you ever been curious as to what Mt. Lassen looks like from Lake Tahoe? The Tahoe Rim Trail Association (TRTA) is calling all baggers to join them in a challenging guided day hike over two beautiful summits on the Tahoe Rim Trail system, Relay Peak (10,342’) and Mt. Houghton (10,494’) to catch that view.

Throughout the 12-mile loop, expect to see expansive views of Lake Tahoe and as far north as Lassen on a good day, plenty of wildflowers, and they’ll even throw in a waterfall in.

Please note this hike has several thousand feet of elevation gain and loss. Participants should have recently completed hikes of similar difficulty. Must be in good physical condition.

The hike will last from 7:30 a.m. to approximately 3:30 p.m. and the cost is $5. To sign up: https://tahoerimtrail.org/event/tahoe-peak-bagger/
