Anne Brigman: A Visionary in Modern Art Presentation at LTCC

Join both the Friends of the Library and AAUW-South Lake Tahoe for a presentation by Amanda Horn of the Nevada Museum of Art on "Anne Brigman: A Visionary in Modern Art". This major retrospective exhibition, at the Museum through January 27, 2019, rediscovers and celebrates the work of Anne Brigman (1869-1950) who is best known for her iconic landscape photographs made in the early 1900s depicting herself and other female nudes outdoors in the Sierra Nevada. Please note this meeting will take place in the Aspen Room of LTCC as the Library is closed for the Veterans Day weekend. Free and open to all.
