Local stylists open new hair salon in Round Hill

Many dream of opening a business, but only a few do so with the grace and style of the two local stylists that recently opened L’Atelier Hair Studio. Michelle Langmayer and Shelly McMillin opened this welcoming rustic boutique salon in Round Hill to offer full services ranging from makeup and color to waxing and specialty treatments. To celebrate their months of hard work, Langmayer and McMillin invite all to the grand opening and ribbon cutting of L’Atelier Hair Studio on Friday, January 9. The event begins at 5:00 pm and includes music, drinks, food and raffle prizes.

L’Atelier, French for the word workshop, allows co-owners Langmayer and McMillin to express their creativity on their own terms. Having previously worked together, Langmayer and McMillin decided to expand their working relationship to become partners by purchasing, renovating and opening their own salon.

“It’s been our dream to open up our own shop,” McMillin said. Both Langmayer and McMillin have years of experience in the industry and McMillin was previously voted Best of Tahoe Hairstylist two consecutive years in 2013 and 2014.

L’Atelier Hair Studio has a range of available services that include bridal and special event makeup, airbrush makeup, Brazilian blowouts, extensions and Keratin complex treatments. Bridal parties are welcome to start their special day in this charming salon with details of reclaimed wood and vintage touches. Thanks to its two owners, L’Atelier is not lacking in character, creativity or talent.
