Liberty Utilities has closed their walk-in and call center offices in Tahoe Vista and South Lake Tahoe due to treacherous weather conditions.
There are approximately 2,000 customers still without power, crews are still trying to make repairs although they are hampered by unsafe conditions including avalanche danger.
The Customer Call Center is unable to receive calls at this time and customers are being asked to check this website for updated information. If you are experiencing an emergency situation, please call 9-1-1.
"Liberty is appreciative of our customers’ patience and understanding during these extreme winter storms and will continue to try to restore service whenever possible,: said Liberty spokesperson Kathy Carter.
