Cinderella at South Tahoe High School

Snow got in the way of school in South Lake Tahoe today, but the show must go on and opening night of Cinderella is on.

It is the same enchanting fairytale you know and love with a few new twists. This contemporary take on the classic tale still features Rodgers & Hammerstein’s most beloved songs, including “In My Own Little Corner", “Impossible”, and “Ten Minutes Ago”, as well as some songs that are sure to become your new favorites. The show includes a new hilarious and romantic book by Tony Award nominee Douglas Carter Beane as well as some new characters, fantastic transformations, a pumpkin coach, glass slippers and surprising twists. Let Cinderella enchant you and capture your heart.

Directed by Nannette Niven and choreographed by Marcia Sarosik, the cast includes: Stephanie Hernandez as Cinderella and Zane Brady as her charming prince, with Aurora Gooch as the Fairy Godmother, Zoe Greco as the Stepmother, Kristen Harnett & Serenity Sanchez as the Stepsisters. Rounding out the cast of over forty students are Trae Vincent, Ian Sielsch, Dominik Schlosser and a whole group of fabulous singers and dancers. Conducting the 20-piece orchestra is Casson Scowcroft, with vocal music direction by Alyssa Little, sets by Drake Niven and Assistant Direction by Ethan Niven.

Performances are January 15, 16, 22, & 23 at 7:00 p.m. and January 17 & 24 at 2:00 p.m. in the South Tahoe High School TADA Theatre.

Tickets are $15.00 General Admission & $10.00 for Students 18 and under. Seating is on a first come first served basis and tickets are available at the door, from the ASB Office from 9am to 3pm on the day of the performances or at our online store.
