South Lake Tahoe Olympian Maddie Bowman used the U.S. Revolution Tour as a stepping stone to the Olympics, and fellow SLT freeskier Kyle Smaine is making his move on the same tour.
An early season leader, Smaine is now headed to the tour's next stop January 26 to 30 at Pennsylvania's Seven Springs Mountain Resort.
An industry leader in terrain park design, progression and innovation, Seven Springs is the perfect place to continue Revolution Tour competition according to USSA. Current snowboarding tour leaders Jake Pates (Edwards, CO), Gabe Ferguson (Bend, OR), Maddie Mastro (Wrightwood, CA) and freeskiing tour leaders Kyle Smaine (S. Lake Tahoe, CA), Annalisa Drew (Andover, MA) and Tim Ryan (Waterville Valley, NH) will look to defend their early season leads.
The U.S. Revolution Tour has proved to be a progressive venue for today’s top junior riders to take the competitive stage in halfpipe, slopestyle, snowboardcross and big air. The tour is designed to serve as a stepping-stone for athletes making the transition from competing at the grassroots level to the elite level.
