Contestants for Dancing With the Tahoe Stars announced

The next cast for the Tahoe Arts Project's Dancing with the Tahoe Stars has been announced, and the list contains ten South Lake Tahoe business owners, educators, police sergeant, and other well known locals.

Professional dancers will be working with the "celebrities" to teach them each a dance they'll bring to the MontBleu stage on Saturday, March 5, 2016.

The Stars:

Dr. Kelly Shanahan will be teamed up with Rainer Herm to dance Disco.
Iris Kahm is teamed up with Jorge Favio Orozco to dance Salsa.
Soroptimist Michelle Ludiker is paired with Wolfgang Reichstine to dance the Fox Trot.
Dr. Mandi Weavil is teamed up with Gerzon (Jayron) Chaves to dance Cumbia.
Whittell High School teacher/coach Lindsay Wines is paired with Bob Truesdale to dance the Country Two Step.
STHS Principal Chad Houck will dance with STHS teacher, and professional dancer, Robyn Lindner to dance the swing.
Tech Tastic owner Zion Fink is paired with Rhonda Keen to dance Broadway.
SLTPD Sgt. Travis Cabral is teamed up with Rebecca Lincoln to dance the ChaCha.
One Trust Home Loans owner David Greco is paired with Rah Hair Salon owner, and dance teacher, Anjela Zajic to dance Hip Hop.
Lakeland Village Resort's Jerry Bindel is paired with Angela Smith to dance the Waltz.

Last year's event ended in a first ever tie between South Lake Tahoe teacher Lisa McDaniel and Lake Tahoe Unified School Board Member Ginger Nicolay-Davis.
