Almost one year after the death of Harry Leibel, his wife Tatiana was convicted of second-degree murder.
Harry Leibel was found in his home in Round Hill on February 23, 2014 after the Douglas County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a gun shot. Leibel's wife told authorities that he has shot himself but the investigation led them to believe differently and Tatiana was arrested for murder. She said the couple had fought over her wanting to visit her daughter in Southern California.
The 50-year old woman was found guilty by a Douglas County jury on Thursday evening. She will be sentenced on April 20.
