The following is the ski, snowboard and weather report for Tuesday, February 9, 2016 for South Lake Tahoe brought to you by Lake Tahoe SkiBum.

Weather - South Lake Tahoe will have a high today of 57 and a low tonight of 26. Today: Sunny, with a high near 57. Southeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm. Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 26. Southwest wind around 5 mph.

Heavenly - Groomed. No New Snow in last 24 hours. 100% of their terrain planned to be open - 4800 acres, 24 lifts and 97 runs are open. Base depth is 83". Lift status. Sunny, with a high near 49. Statement from Heavenly- Mountain access - The Heavenly Village Gondola, Stagecoach Lodge, and The CA Main Lodge. Weather permitting; 24 scheduled lifts will spin until 4:00 pm, providing access to 97 Heavenly trails. Our Groomer's trail picks of the day are Ridge Run in CA and Orion in NV.

Sierra-at-Tahoe - Groomed/Packed Powder. No new snow. They plan to have 10 lifts open with groomed conditions on 31 of their open 46 runs. Six snow parks and the halfpipe are open. Base depth is 55" to 106". Lift status. Sunny, with a high near 54. Southeast wind 5 to 9 mph becoming southwest in the morning.
