The following is the ski, snowboard and weather report for Sunday, February 14, 2016 for South Lake Tahoe brought to you by Lake Tahoe SkiBum.

Weather - South Lake Tahoe will have a high today of 50 and a low tonight of 30. Today: Mostly sunny, with a high near 50. South wind 5 to 10 mph becoming northeast in the afternoon. Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 30. Northeast wind 5 to 10 mph.

Heavenly - Groomed. No New Snow in last 24 hours. 100% of their terrain planned to be open - 4800 acres, 28 lifts and 97 runs are open. Base depth is 83". Lift status. Mostly sunny, with a high near 44. Windy, with a north wind 15 to 25 mph increasing to 25 to 35 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 50 mph. Message from Heavenly-NOAA Forecast - Mostly Sunny with a high near 44°. Moderate North winds around 15-25 mph becoming stronger in the afternoon. Gusts up to 50 mph are expected later in the day so stay tuned for any updates on possible wind holds. Mountain access - The Heavenly Village Gondola, Stagecoach Lodge, Boulder Lodge and The CA Main Lodge. Weather permitting; All 28 scheduled lifts will spin until 4:00 pm, providing access to 97 Heavenly trails. Our Groomer's trail picks of the day are High Five in CA, and Big Dipper in NV.

Sierra-at-Tahoe - Groomed/Packed Powder. No new snow. They plan to have 12 lifts open with groomed conditions on 32 of their open 46 runs. Six snow parks and the halfpipe are open. Base depth is 52" to 102". Lift status. Mostly sunny, with a high near 51. Light and variable wind becoming east northeast 9 to 14 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 21 mph. Kirkwood - Groomed. No new snow. 100% of the mountain terrain is open with 2300 acres, 12 lifts and 86 runs. 85" base. Lift status.M– Mostly sunny, with a high near 49.
