SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - In an effort to bring more of the public to their meetings, the South Lake Tahoe City Council is holding their second meeting of each month in the evening.
Tuesday, February 19 will be the first night meeting for the new Council and the agenda appears to be fairly short. The meeting starts at 5:30 p.m. and the Council voted to not allow the night meetings to go past 10:00 p.m.
They will be having the second reading of a new mobile vending ordinance which would allow food trucks through the town in 30 days if approved. They will also decide what the permit fees will be for the new vendors.
There will also be a presentation from the local 100% Renewable Energy Committee.
The meeting can be viewed online - http://cityofslt.us/84/Watch-Council-Meetings - or on Charter cable channel 21. It can also be viewed live on Facebook on the City's page, https://www.facebook.com/CityofSLT.
