26th annual Banked Slalom at Kirkwood this weekend

The 26th annual Banked Slalom hosted by Kirkwood Mountain Resort and driven by GMC returns on Saturday and Sunday, February 22-23. The race takes place in Kirkwood’s Snow Snake Gully, known for its challenging natural terrain.
Race operations will once again be executed by KSEF.
Day one of the event is designed for kids and families. Race categories include 8 & under, 9-12, 13-15, 16-19 and Family category, which combines the time of parent and child.
Day two will showcase the fastest adult racers in the following categories: 29 and under, 30-39, 40-49, 50+, Pro/Open Class and Snowskate. Race Divisions will be divided between Boys/Girls and Ski/Snowboard.
The first run is scheduled to take place at 11:00 a.m.
Spectators are welcome, and can use a free uphill walking lane to view the race.
Registration Costs:
- $20 for valid pass holders
- $20 for JETS and KSEF kids
- $40 for non-pass holder’s + cost of a day ticket
