The Tahoe Area Mountain Biking Association (TAMBA) and the U.S. Forest Service are teaming up this summer to build six miles of new trails in the Fallen Leaf Lake and Angora Ridge area, the first phase of 15 miles of trails in the area which will cost $120,000.

This Sunday, the community is invited to a special fundraiser for the project at the Blue Angel Cafe in South Lake Tahoe.

That evening, Chris McNamara, owner of Outdoor Gear Lab, will be showing videos of the very first wingsuit BASE jumps around the world and the over 80 climbing ascents at El Capitan that led to the them.

Hosted by Todd Offenbacher, the event will also include a raffle and silent auction. For every dollar raised, one foot of trail will be built. Included in the prizes are Outdoor Gear Lab gear, skis, snowboards, electric skateboards, jackets and more. There are also items online that are available to bid on: http://stores.ebay.com/outdoorgearlabstore/

Tickets are $25 and 100 percent of the money goes to the Tahoe Area Mountain Biking Association to build trails. Their goal is to raise $10,000 Sunday.
