Applications being accepted for South Lake Tahoe Citizen's Academy

- Learn about opportunities to become more involved and help build a sustainable community
- Receive first-hand information and have the chance to ask questions on any topic at the end of each session
If you've wanted to increase your knowledge about how the City of South Lake Tahoe operates, now is your chance.
The Spring Citizen's Academy will be held April 8 throgh May 20 and applications are now being accepted. Open to all community members, the Academy takes people through a weekly series of workshops on the inner workings of city government including the following:
- Learn about City government operations and services
- See taxpayers' investments at work
- Expand their knowledge and become more informed on current and proposed projects within the City
- Gain appreciation for the City’s resources and capacity to meet the needs of the community
- Learn about opportunities to become more involved and help build a sustainable community
- Receive first-hand information and have the chance to ask questions on any topic at the end of each session
The Acadmey is held on Wednesdays from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
