Tahoe Youth & Family Services to host live chat on coping with the coronavirus pandemic

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Tahoe Youth and Family services will launch their first Facebook Live! Chat to help area residents face the stress created by the current coronavirus pandemic starting on April 15, 2020, at 1:00 p.m.

The nonprofit's licensed clinical social workers will be joined by their licensed and certified drug and alcohol counselors to answer questions and provide tools and tips to help maintain mental health during these difficult and challenging times.

The panel will take questions both before the event and during the broadcast.

Are you feeling stressed, scared, and are you struggling to maintain yourself so you can take care of your family and yourself? If you answered yes to any part of this question, please know, you are not alone. This crisis is causing mental havoc for many. Staying healthy and positive has never been more challenging and difficult, but it’s now more critical than ever.

Tahoe Youth & Family Services’ panel has 38 years of experience and will participants the tools you need to cope and survive.

For the first broadcast on April 15, the panel will focus on the coronavirus and its impacts on you and your family. Future chats will include topics such as relationships, family, motivation, work-life balance, well-being, and more.
