Earth Day Climate March in South Lake Tahoe

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The community is invited to join in on the Earth Day Climate March on Saturday, April 27 starting at 9:30 a.m. They will be starting at Lakeview Commons and at 10:00 a.m. they will be marching over to the South Lake Tahoe Earth Day celebration at Bijou Community Park.

This year’s Earth Day Climate March, hosted by the Sierra Nevada Alliance, South Lake Tahoe’s 100% Renewables Committee, and the Tahoe Climate Change Action Network, will be celebrating the second anniversary of the passing of the City’s 100% Renewable Energy Resolution. The Alliance, along with the 100% Renewables Committee, helped to pass this historic achievement on April 17, 2017.

Join in the march to celebrate and learn more about the progress the City of South Lake Tahoe has been making towards a sustainable future.
