SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - El Dorado County Sheriff's Office responds to calls throughout the county. The following are calls that only pertain to the South and West Shore, including Meyers, South Lake Tahoe, Meeks Bay, Tahoma, and the Echo Summit area. There may be some missing calls due to sheriff's logs not being completed at the time of the story.

10:06 a.m. - Vacation Home Rental - Genoa Ave - VHR COMPLAINT

6:22 p.m. - Violation of Probation - Oak Ave, Tahoma - A 31-YEAR-OLD MALE SUBJECT WAS SEEN VIA SECURITY CAMERA ATTEMPTING TO MAKE ENTRY INTO A LOCKED FRONT DOOR OF A RESIDENCE.

11:58 a.m. - Shelter in Place - Crystal Air Dr - CITIZEN CONCERNED ABOUT VHR RENTALS DURING PANDEMIC. REPORT TAKEN AND FORWARDED TO CODE ENFORCEMENT.

1:48 p.m. - Spousal Battery - Christmas Valley - 33-YEAR-OLD MALE SPIT IN HIS WIFE'S FACE DURING A VERBAL ARGUMENT. FEMALE VICTIM REPORTED A HISTORY OF PHYSICAL
ABUSE BY HER HUSBAND AS RECENT AS 10 DAYS AGO BUT COULD NOT PROVIDE MUCH DETAIL. MALE COULD NOT BE CONTACTED AT TIME OF REPORT.

6:45 p.m. - Rent Without a Permit - 5th Ave., Tahoma - DEPUTIES RESPONDED TO THE REPORT OF A VACATION HOME RENTAL COMPLAINT.

6:45 p.m. - COVID-19 - 5th Ave., Tahoma - DEPUTIES RESPONDED TO THE REPORT OF PEOPLE VIOLATING THE SHELTER IN PLACE DIRECTIVE BY OCCUPYING A RESIDENCE THAT WAS NOT THEIR PRIMARY RESIDENCE.
