Original Story:

Seven condos in the Tahoe Keys were destroyed on Tuesday afternoon after a fire swept through the complex at 170-176 Ala Wai Blvd in South Lake Tahoe.

Firefighting personnel from South Lake Tahoe Fire Rescue, Lake Valley Fire, Tahoe Douglas Fire and Cal Fire were on the scene after the first call went into 911 operators at 1:48 p.m.

The cause of the fire is being investigated, but early reports say it was accidentally human caused by a worker in the attic of one of the units. There were no injuries reported though damage is extensive.

SLT Police used bean bag guns to shoot out windows of the condominiums to help with venting.

Nearby units not burned had a lot of water at their doors.
