Second live-stream Tahoe Supports Tahoe concert to raise funds for Tahoe Magic

Event Date:
May 6, 2020 - 7:00pm

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - With a growing need in the community, Tahoe Magic is hosting its second live-streamed concert to raise funds that will go directly back into the community.

On Wednesday, May 6, Lake Tahoe musicians are coming together again to raise money for Tahoe families in crisis because of the COVID-19 pandemic and shutdown.

In the second live stream concert hosted by Tahoe Supports Tahoe, more than a half-dozen musicians will perform from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Performers include:

Jesse Dunn and Jenni Charles of Dead Winter Carpenters
Darren Senn, singer and songwriter
Lou Brindell, recording artist
Eric Smith, recording artist at Edgetone Records, and Celia Dubose
Fabian Plazola, singer and songwriter from Ameca, Mexico, sister city to South Lake Tahoe
DJ Sergio, who will lead a Latin Dance party

You can watch the concert on the Tahoe Supports Tahoe Facebook page, as well as at Temple Bat Yam’s site -- https://tbytahoe.org/virtual-community/live//

All contributions are tax-deductible and go to Tahoe Magic, which has provided emergency help to local families for 27 years. Tahoe Magic has already dispersed more than $100,000 since early March, twice as much as it usually disperses in an entire year. The funds go to people who are referred by an agency such as the school district or one of many supporting nonprofits. Checks are issued to landlords, utility companies, etc., and cash is not handed directly out.

The performing musicians, who have themselves been hit very hard by the COVID shutdown, are generously performing to help the community. Show your own generosity by tuning in and contributing as well.
