Free medical, dental and vision clinic coming to South Lake Tahoe

A free clinic with medical, dental and vision services will be in South Lake Tahoe on Monday, May 29 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Heavenly Valley Seventh-Day Adventist church.

Physicians and dentists who are part of AMEN, Adventist Medical Evangelism Network, will be in town to give their time free of charge to those in need of care. They will be doing blood pressure screenings, dental fillings, tooth extractions, teeth cleanings, eye exams, preventative checkups, musculoskeletal screenings, hands-on treatments and personalized exercise programs. At first, for those with prescriptions, new glasses would be provided for $25, but now there is no cost!

This is a first-come, first-served event with the doors opening at 7:30 a.m. for registration. No appointments and services will be provided until maximum capacity is reached.
