'California Cool' Crooner Chris Isaak at Tahoe's MontBleu

Event Date:
August 9, 2014 - 9:00pm

Whether it's love, passion or heartbreak, no one sings a breakup or makeup song quite like Chris Isaak. California's coolest crooner will bring his sweeping catalogue of heart-bending classics — from "Wicked Game," "Somebody's Crying" to "San Francisco Days" and "Two Hearts" — to Lake Tahoe for a one-night-only show Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014 at MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa.

With a career spanning nearly three decades, Isaak has released nine albums, 12 singles, been nominated for two Grammy awards, acted in several motion pictures, starred in his own critically acclaimed TV series and even made a guest appearance this year on TV Land's hit show "Hot in Cleveland." Isaak's concerts feature his longtime band, Silvertone, that has entertained tens of thousands of fans throughout the years. Even Isaak’s hair has its own fan club.

Reserved seating tickets at $55.50 and $65.50, plus a $3 facility fee, are available through Ticketmaster.com or by calling the MontBleu Box Office at (888) 829-7630 for the 9 p.m. show. Tickets are expected to sell out fast.

A Stockton, California native, Isaak has earned international fame for his distinctly rich and smooth voice blending dusky baritone and tender falsetto to create an effortless brand of stylish retro-cool. His musical personas vary from rockabilly rebel such as "Dancin'," "Baby Did A Bad, Bad Thing," and "Speak Of The Devil" to crooner songs like "Can't Do A Thing (To Stop Me)," "Let Me Down Easy" and "Blue Hotel," to the breezy "Solitary Man," "Don't Make Me Dream About You," "Think Of Tomorrow," and "Go Walking Down There."

Isaak's songs have been featured in notable Hollywood blockbusters such as "Eyes Wide Shut," "Blue Velvet," "True Romance" and "Wild at Heart" as well as countless TV shows.
