Lake Tahoe Community College’s 2020 Vision Session planned for this Saturday, June 8 has been canceled. The college and community are mourning the loss of several members of our college family.
Out of respect for those who passed and their family members and friends, LTCC is postponing the visioning session until Fall 2013. An announcement with a new date and time for this important session will come soon.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 8th for former LTCC Instructor Kathy Bluethman at George Whittell High School on the football field at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the George Whittell Athletic Department, P. O. Box 677, Zephyr Cove, NV, 89448.
A memorial service for former LTCC Instructor Carl Young will also be held Saturday, June 8th at 12 p.m. at McFarlane Mortuary, 887 Emerald Bay Road. Carl’s family is asking that donations in his memory be sent to the Ventana Wildlife Society.
