Another warm week in store for South Lake Tahoe but no records expected

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Records aren't expected to fall this week, but South Lake Tahoe will continue to see warm and sunny days. Winds will increase on Monday and Tuesday.

South Lake Tahoe broke records three of last seven days with all time highs of 90 on June 19, 87 on June 20 and 86 on June 21.

A Red Flag Warning is in place for northern Sierra and Western Nevada as humidity levels drop and winds increase on Monday, prompting a fire danger warning for areas outside the Lake Tahoe Basin. High wind warnings was issued for Washoe Lake, but not for Lake Tahoe at this time. Fire Zone 278 Eastern Lassen County, Fire Zone 450 Western Nevada Sierra Front, Fire Zone 453 West Central Nevada Basin and Range, Fire Zone 458 Northern Washoe County and Fire Zone 459 Mineral and Southern Lyon Counties are all under the Red Flag Warning.

Forecast from the National Weather Service in Reno for South Lake Tahoe:

Tonight - Mostly clear, with a low around 50. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph.

Monday - Sunny, with a high near 81. Southwest wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.

Monday Night - Clear, with a low around 40. Southwest wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Tuesday - Sunny, with a high near 78. West wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Tuesday Night - Clear, with a low around 38. West wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light in the evening. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.

Wednesday - Sunny, with a high near 78.

Wednesday Night - Clear, with a low around 39.

Thursday - Sunny, with a high near 81.

Thursday Night - Mostly clear, with a low around 42.

Friday - Sunny, with a high near 81.

Friday Night - Mostly clear, with a low around 44.

Saturday - Sunny, with a high near 82.

Saturday Night - Mostly clear, with a low around 45.

Sunday - Sunny, with a high near 86.
