South Lake Tahoe forecast: Cooler start to a week that ends in the 80's

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - A passing cold front is bringing windy conditions to Lake Tahoe and Western Nevada Sunday. The winds will be dying down overnight. A cool-down will occur through Monday with temperatures rebounding to near normal by the middle of the week. The seasonal temperatures remain through the weekend. The 4th of July holiday is expected to be sunny with a high of 80 and a low of 45.

Monday - Sunny, with a high near 66. North wind around 5 mph.

Monday Night - Mostly clear, with a low around 42. North wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.

Tuesday - Sunny, with a high near 73. West wind 5 to 10 mph.

Tuesday Night - Clear, with a low around 43. West wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as
high as 20 mph.

Wednesday - Sunny, with a high near 78. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph.

Wednesday Night - Clear, with a low around 45.

Thursday - Sunny, with a high near 77.

Thursday Night - Mostly clear, with a low around 45.

Friday - Sunny, with a high near 78.

Friday Night - Mostly clear, with a low around 45.
