Rotary is a worldwide organization of community volunteers. Rotarians see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change - across the globe, in our communities and in ourselves. Our motto is “Service Above Self” and we strive to conduct our lives by the highest of ethical standards.

Jonathan, 30 years of Celebrity Golf has had a tremendous impact on our South Lake Tahoe Communities. The effects of this tournament are felt year round by our local businesses, non-profits and the people they serve.

Since 2009 The American Century Championship has distributed donations exceeding 1.2 Million dollars to more than 80 local non-profit organizations and over 10,000 individuals. Additionally each year thousands of dollars are directed to on-site volunteer organizations for their efforts during tournament week.

When we talk about transforming their communities and creating lasting change one should certainly recognize American Century Investments.

In appreciation for all that American Century Investments has done for the greater South Lake Tahoe Community our Tahoe Douglas Rotarians are proud to present you this honorary Paul Harris Fellow.

"This place is a very special place and the level of intimacy is hard to recreate," said Thomas as he received the award. "All are impressed by the entire community. We focus on service as well so this is a great alignment."

Formed on Sept. 7, 1962, the Tahoe Douglas Rotary Club has been giving back to the community ever since. For 51 years they have been holding an annual St. Patrick's Day Celebration to raise funds that go back to local non-profits, groups and projects.
