Community Workshop:
July 25, 2013 5 P.M. to 7 P.M.
4130 Lake Tahoe Blvd., South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150
Spanish and Tagalog Interpreters will be present.
PURPOSE OF THE COMMUNITY WORKSHOP:
-Explain the Appraisal, Acquisition and Relocation Assistance process.
-Inform you of the rights you have as an owner or tenant of property impacted by the proposed road realignment.
-The Relocation Assistance Plan and Community Impact Assessment processes will be outlined to let you know how you can meaningfully participate in each process.
Project representatives will be available to answer questions regarding the proposed re-alignment and your rights related to acquisition and relocation assistance.
The US 50/South Shore Community Revitalization Project includes alternatives that propose realigning US 50, from its current alignment within the commercial core, to a new alignment along the mountainside. Real Estate (land and improvements) located within the area impacted by the proposed road realignment may be partially or fully acquired as part of the project. To define impacts associated with these potential relocations, the Tahoe Transportation District (TTD) is completing a Relocation Assistance Plan and a Community Impact Assessment as part of the project's environmental analysis.
