Mutt Strut to raise funds for spay and neuter program in South Lake Tahoe

The Animal Coalition of Tahoe (ACT) and Tahoe Beach Retreat have teamed up for the annual Mutt Strut on October 1 from noon to 2:00 p.m.

Its always a lot of fun for dogs and their owners to take part in one of South Lake Tahoe's favorite events. Walk with your dog along the route, enjoy friends, make new ones and help support the ACT Spay and Neuter Program. There will be raffles, music, games and fun for two and four legged friends.

The Strut will begin at Lakeview Commons at noon on October 1 and will end at Tahoe Beach Retreat (Timber Cove Beach).

They have changed the event from a poker run with entry fees to a big community dog walk, minus the poker run.

But organizers say that doesn't mean you shouldn't bring your checkbook. They are currently the only group in South Lake Tahoe that offersl ow cost spay and neutering services and their funds are being depleted.
