Air quality testing and final fire inspections will take place prior to the students' return. Last week, teachers began setting up their classrooms in the upper pod, The construction Conex boxes are being removed, and Belfor is planning their departure.

No drop-off or pick-up procedures will change until students currently at Al Tahoe Elementary are back at Sierra House.

There have been just a few days since November 11, 2018 that all students and staff have been together at Sierra House. A fire that night damaged the school and it has taken months for crews to get the building safe to be reoccupied. Students were split between South Tahoe Middle School and Al Tahoe Elementary during the last school year and split between some of the rooms at Sierra House and Al Tahoe for much of the current school year.
