Two public hearings on the Meyers Area Plan in October

Regional Planning Agency (TRPA) Thresholds;
5) Implement Sustainable Communities Strategies; and
6) Implement policy direction of TRPA’s Regional Plan for El Dorado County’s General Plan.

The El Dorado County Planning Commission will be holding a public hearing and workshop on the Meyers Area Plan at the South Lake Tahoe City Council Chambers on October 16 from 9 a.m. to noon.
The public has a chance to give input and share ideas on the plan which will be an update of the existing 1993 Meyers Community Plan.
The plan's goal is to:
2) Realize Meyers’ Community Vision;
3) Provide consistent and simplified rules;
4) Assist in achieving Tahoe
Regional Planning Agency (TRPA) Thresholds;
5) Implement Sustainable Communities Strategies; and
6) Implement policy direction of TRPA’s Regional Plan for El Dorado County’s General Plan.
If any members of the public wish to give comment but cannot attend the meeting they are being asked to write their comments to the County of El Dorado Planning Services, 2850 Fairlane Court, Placerville, CA 95667 or via email at planning@edcgove.us.
There is a second public hearing at the El Dorado County Board of Supervisor's October 28 meeting in Placerville. That meeting will be held from 9 a.m. to noon.
