Single car accident at Stateline claims the life of an Oregon man

The Nevada Highway Patrol has released the names of the people involved in a single car accident in Stateline on Friday morning.
NHP Troopers responded to the 8 a.m. rollover accident near Kahle Drive. Crash investigations show that 71-year-old Larry Dean Wells was driving a blue Hyundai eastbound on U.S. Highway 50 when the car left the roadway, struck a tree and rolled over.
Wells, of Oregon, was pronounced dead at the scene. His passenger, Roxanne Jean Freeman, a 68-year-old Oregon resident, was air lifted to Renown Medical Center in Reno win non-life threatening injuries. She has since been released.
It is still unknown why Wells left the roadway.
