City Council meeting: Cannabis businesses, mobility ordinance and new mayor selection

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The City Council will have several items in front of them on Tuesday that would create an ordinance on shared mobility devices such as Lime Scooters, move the next two cannabis businesses in South Lake Tahoe closer to opening, and select the next mayor, among other items.

They will also look at approving a salary increase for City Attorney Heather Stroud and possibly awarding the Concessionaire Agreement for Lakeview Commons Signature Summer Events to On Course Events. They will also look at adopting the 2019 California Building Standards Code. Council will also be appointing the 2020 mayor and mayor pro tem, and divide up the list of boards and commissions they participate in.
