September casino revenue declines

Nevada casino winnings declined nearly 6 percent in September over 2010 figures, with South Shore Lake Tahoe down 14 percent, the Nevada Gaming Control Board reports. Carson Valley casinos, which include Carson City, saw a slight decline at 2.54 percent.
Statewide Nevada casinos report a 5.8 percent decrease compared to September 2010.
Casinos at Stateline took in $17,152,560 in September. In 2010 for the month, they reported $20,030,139. The difference is 14.37 percent. At Lake Tahoe's North Shore, casino revenue declined 14.6 percent, with $2,573,568 in reported September winnings compared to $3,014,899 in September 2010.
