CHP Senior Volunteer Program looking for participants

The California Highway Patrol office in South Lake Tahoe is looking for local senior citizens to take part in their Senior Volunteer Program.
Those that participate will provide a myriad of services for the CHP including deployment of the radar trailer, working with local schools, assisting the office, teaching driver safety to other seniors and participate in ride-a-longs with officers.
There are a few requirements.
1. Be over 55
2. Undergo a background investigation
3. No felony convictions
4. Be of good moral character
5. Be available to volunteer during office hours
6. Be willing to perform various duties as assigned
7. Be able to work with minimal supervision.
