is treating children and adults, delivering a full array of surgical and non-surgical ENT medical services; including allergy therapy, treatments for ear and throat infections, sinus and nasal issues, head and neck illnesses, snoring, voice, and hearing problems.

Submitted by paula on Wed, 06/17/2020 - 7:52pmDOUGLAS COUNTY, Nev. - In response to Governor Sisolak’s announcement of the State entering Phase 2 of COVID-19 recovery, Douglas County Community Services has announced the reopening of child care programming, Lake Day Camp, at Kahle Community Center starting on Tuesday June 23, 2020.
Procedures will be implemented at the Kahle Community Center as outlined below based on Directive 21 – Roadmap to Recovery for Nevada for Phase 2.

LTCC President Murillo named one of three finalists for top spot at Southwestern College
Submitted by paula on Sat, 12/03/2016 - 10:33pmDr. Kindred Murillo, Superintendent/President of Lake Tahoe Community College (LTCC), is a finalist for the same position at Southwestern College (SWC) in Chula Vista.
Murillo and the two other finalists were in Southern California this week to meet with students, faculty and administrators at a public forum on Wednesday. On Monday, December 5, they will have a final interview before the college's governing board.

'I was honored to be a finalist, and I wish Dr. Fred Wood the very best," Murillo told South Tahoe Now.

As a long time resident of South Lake Tahoe I just take the arrival of pollen as I do the changing of the seasons, but I thought a little research would help us understand causes, and cures, a bit more.

February 2, 2012 (All day) The Community Education department at Lake Tahoe Community College presents “Get Fresh and Healthy” workshop series. This is a series of four workshops; however you can register for individual workshops OR for all four together! Each workshop is ONLY $38!!
• Cooking with Spices is on Thursday, February 2nd from 6pm-9pm.
This exciting workshop will help you learn to elevate the flavor of foods by using different herb and spice blends. The facilitator of this workshop is local and master gardener, Diane Weidinger.
