Barton Health providing seasonal flu, pneumonia vaccinations

Barton Health encourages our community to be protected during flu season by offering affordable vaccinations during convenient dates and times, at the following locations:
Saturday, Oct. 20, 9 a.m. to noon and again on Saturday, Nov. 17, 9 a.m. to noon at Barton Family Medicine, 1090 Third Street, South Lake Tahoe.
Saturday, Nov. 3, 9 a.m. to noon, Barton Urgent Care & Family Practice at Stateline Medical Center, 155 Highway 50, Stateline, Nev.
Ages 3 - 18 FREE.* Cost for ages 19 and older: Seasonal Flu Shot: $20; Pneumonia Vaccine: $35
Important information:
-Both vaccines reimbursable for Standard Medicare patients. Medicare HMO's and other insurances cannot be billed.
-Flu shots are not for persons with certain medical conditions. Consult with your physician before receiving vaccinations.
-Flu vaccine offered does not contain mercury.
-Latex Allergy: Vaccines contain trace amounts of natural latex in the rubber stopper.
*As part of Barton Health's ongoing commitment to the health of our community's children, Barton is offering FREE seasonal flu shots (not nasal mist) to children ages three to 18 at all of our community flu clinics.
