Dear Community, The sold-out 30th annual Elegant Evening 2019 at Harrah’s Tahoe was a huge success and that was due to the generosity of businesses and friends near and far. We are beyond thrilled that our special appeal for Challenge Day was met and exceeded!

September 23, 2018 - 3:00pm Join the Tahoe Area Sierra Club at Aspen Hollow in South Lake Tahoe for an Autumn Garden Party and Fundraiser on September 23 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.. The event will include food, a raffle and several speakers.
Tickets will be sold at the door for $20 and includees a wide array of appetizers, two drink tickets and five raffle tickets.
Aspen Hollow is located at 541 Emerald Bay Rd.

Great food, wine and desserts and Julie Carville, author of Tahoe’s Spectacular Wildflower Trails, will be signing books and speaking about the local flora.
Tickets will be sold at the door: $15.00 members $20.00 general.

September 20, 2015 - 4:00pm Enjoy the Tahoe Area Sierra Club's fundraiser, "Dinner in the Autumn Garden," on Sunday, September 20 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Aspen Hollow Nursery.
Join them as the spend an evening in the garden enjoying food, wine, friends and fall planting ideas.
All proceeds will benefit the conservation work of the local group. Tickets will be sold at the door and are $15.00 for members and $20.00 for non-members. Aspen Hollow Nursery is located at 541 Emerald Bay Road in South Lake Tahoe.

Tahoe in Bloom garden tour set for July

Not only are the Lake Tahoe wildflowers giving viewers a colorful experience, so are the gardens of local green thumbs.
The Lake Tahoe Master Gardeners are holding the Annual Tahoe in Bloom Garden Tour on Saturday, July 25 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Six beautiful gardens will be on display in the Mid-Kingsbury neighborhood.
During the tour there will also be three Tahoe-specific educational gardening talks, and Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer any questions.

The Sierra Club and Aspen Hollow Nursery are hosting a Fall Garden Party on October 1 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Learn about native plants while enjoying wine and appetizers during this annual fundraiser. There will also be a raffle.
The Garden Party is at Aspen Hollow, located at 541 Emerald Bay Road in South Lake Tahoe.
The cost is $10.

The South Lake Tahoe garden of John and Cathy Hindmarsh will be on display Saturday, July 26.
The showing of the garden is hosted by Aspen Hollow Nursery at the Hindmarsh home located at 642 Tehama Drive. Stop by between 2 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.. Refreshments will be provided and donations to Christmas Cheer are welcome. The event is free and open to the public.
This July featured garden is the first installment of the "South of
South Shore" 2014 open garden tour. The garden was designed and constructed by John Fellows of Aspen Hollow.

July 16, 2014 (All day) The Lake Tahoe Area Sierra Club is bringing back their Annual Fundraiser to the incredible Stonehenge residence in Echo View Estates on July 16th. The annual evening of wine, food, and entertainment will also feature several local artists.. The founder of the Sierra Club, John Muir (impersonated by Don Baldwin) will be making an appearance, celebrating the 100th anniversary of his death.

The Annual Boys & Girls Club of Lake Tahoe Spirit of Spring Fundraiser was held on Tuesday, May 13 at Edgewood Tahoe from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
All proceeds from this evening of food and wine will benefit the local kids -- helping them be great!
Guests were treated to name vintages, cordials and beer for the evening courtesy of Southern Wine and Spirits and appetizers buffet courtesy of Edgewood Tahoe.

The sunset party will include an exhibit by local photographer Jon Paul, music and a silent auction. Gourmet food will be served along with select wine from Naked Wines. New landmark installed at Lake Tahoe Golf Course

After two months of sweat, scrapes, carving and lots of attention paid to detail, a new sign went up Tuesday at Lake Tahoe Golf Course, marking a generation of landmarks that bring in an all-encompassing natural environment perspective.
With the design furnished by Lake Tahoe Golf Course, Jeanette Minier developed, constructed and hand-carved the sign which is now perched at the entrance of the golf course at 2500 Emerald Bay Road. Final touches with masonry continues.
