Musical '42nd Street' to Take Stage at Lake Tahoe's Newest Stage

Viking Road is soon to become the way to 42nd Street with the first student performance to take the stage at the new Viking Theatre at South Tahoe High School’s Tahoe Arts and Design Academy.

For those who want to experience the big bold musical production of 42nd Street, the curtain rises Friday, December 9, Saturday, December 10, and Saturday, December 17 at 7pm; and on Sunday, December 11 and 18 at 2pm. Agency advises to celebrate the holidays safely

The winter holidays are a time for celebration with family and friends, and that means more cooking, entertaining, home decorating and an increased risk of home fires due to increased usage of cooking and heating equipment. Most home fires and injuries occur in the kitchen as reported by the U.S. Fire Administration. Congregation strives to bring even more 'Unity' to the South Shore

Unity at the Lake began as a small study group in Karen Martin's living room and 17 years later is a thriving, diverse and open spiritual community that well over a hundred locals and visitors call their spiritual home. Their spiritual leaders, Stew and Hillary Bittman, are currently in the process of becoming ordained Interfaith Ministers. Unity has published the "Daily Word" since 1924.

SnowGlobe Festival early bird and advance tickets sell out; 3-day and VIP passes on sale

Who said there's never any good news on Thursdays? The folks over at SnowGlobe Music Festival report that the advance and early bird tickets for the Dec. 29 through New Year's Eve concerts have sold out. But there are plenty of tickets remaining for the regular 3-day and VIP passes, according to the website.
