Lake Tahoe has lost one of its icons. At the young age of 66, Terry Alan Ogg left us suddenly July 28, 2020.

Terry was born March 18, 1954 in Richmond, California. He grew up in Pinole, California and graduated from Pinole High School in 1972. As a teenager, he developed a love for music and found his instrument, a "Huge" (his words) Hammond organ. He moved his organ to South Lake Tahoe in 1975 at the age of 21 on a quest to become a rock star, among other interests.

LAKE TAHOE, Nev. - Jackson Browne returns to the Lake Tahoe Summer Concert Series at Harveys Outdoor Arena on Saturday, August 10 at 8:00 p.m.

The legendary singer/songwriter last performed at the popular Tahoe venue in 2015 and is the seventh act to book at the popular outdoor arena this summer.

Entertainer Pitbull made his first visit to Lake Tahoe a memorable one for the thousands of fans who danced the night away as the rapper, singer, actor, producer performed hit and hit on Friday night at the Harveys Outdoor Arena for the latest of the Lake Tahoe Summer Concert Series.

Pitbull, or "Mr. Worldwide" as he is also known, swaggered onto the stage in a way only he can and from the first beat everyone was out of their seat and they never sat again.

For over 50 years, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Dave Mason has been entertaining crowds, from his days as a founding member of Traffic, to his current days touring the world with his band.

He'll be on the South Shore Sunday night as he stops by Harrah's Tahoe as part of his "Alone Together" tour.

Mason took time this week to talk to South Tahoe Now as he traveled from Oregon to Washington, both stops on his tour before heading to South Lake Tahoe.

Word Wave, a festival for readers, writers, and lovers of story has returned to South Lake Tahoe. The three day long Word Wave will feature readings, workshops, panels, music, and plays from October 21-23, 2016 at Tallac Historic Site.

Every culture has used, and continues to use, story to entertain, educate, preserve history and tradition, and connect and WordWave will celebrate those words and the story in all its forms for the second year on the South Shore.

That’s just part of the story of the journey of Three Dog Night’s show last night at the Montbleau Casino in South Lake Tahoe.

Oakland-based vocalist/songwriter Thadeus Gonzalez starts a West Coast tour in support of his debut album, UTOPIAN SOCIETY. The first part of the tour includes hometown Oakland, Hollywood, Santa Cruz, South Lake Tahoe, and Medford.

His South Lake Tahoe stop will be at Whiskey Dick's on May 27, 2015 at 9 p.m.

Fans and City staff were on hand at the South Lake Tahoe airport as Aerosmith arrived for their outdoor concert at Harvey's on Friday afternoon.

Slash took to the stage first, bringing a lot of fan favorites from Guns & Roses as well as new songs. After a full hour of playing, Steven Tyler, Joe Perry and Aerosmith brought out high energy and constant rock and roll. Their set was non-stop action for almost two hours.

More than 400 classic cars are headed into South Lake Tahoe this weekend as part of the annual Hot August Nights celebrations. After months of building, remodeling, planning and prepping, Sonney Bruning has opened "Sonney's BBQ Shack" in South Lake Tahoe.

In 1971, wanting to give a more Rock ‘n Roll flavor to the blues-boogie music they were playing with "Savoy", Dave & Roger enlisted lead/slide guitarist Rod Price & bassist Tony Stevens, formed a new band, "Foghat", and the rest is part of Rock and Roll history.
