Lake Tahoe Humane Society holds garage sale

As the new Lake Tahoe Humane Society Board of Directors restarts, rebuilds, restores and re-engages the agency, they are holding a yard sale to remove excess merchandise to help in that effort on Saturday, June 2.
From 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., they will be selling lots of goods in their back parking lot. Even though the agency is located at 884 Emerald Bay Road, its easier to access by parking behind them on Roger Avenue.

Dr. Kelly Shanahan retiring after 22 years in South Lake Tahoe

"It was a sign that I need to retire," said Dr. Kelly Shanahan.
Shanahan sat down with me recently, to reflect on her 22 years in South Lake Tahoe, and the almost 10,000 babies she's delivered in her career.
The sign?
Without putting her office up for sale she received a phone call from a local realtor, asking if she'd like to sell the building that houses her Emerald Bay Center for Women's Health.
The potential buyer came to look at the property, and shortly after, a vacationing doctor called to see if she'd like to sell her practice.
American Legion Auxiliary to hold rummage sale

The American Legion Auxiliary Post 795 of South Lake Tahoe will hold a rummage sale this Friday and Saturday, March 4 and 5, 2016. The rummage sale will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day, at the American Legion Hall, 2748 Lake Tahoe Boulevard, South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150.
Hundreds of items will be for sale including clothing, toys, electronics, antiques, household items and much more!

June 13, 2015 - 10:00am A two day yard sale hosted by the South Lake Tahoe Moose Lodge LOOM 1632/WOTM 408 will be held on June 13 and 14 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Their large yard will be full of a large variety of items including stereo equipment, china, serving ware, pictures and clothing.
The Moose will also be holding a Silent Auction as well. This is their annual fundraising event.

A community yard sale and silent auction like no other! Moose Lodge #1632 will have their 3rd Annual event at the lodge, located at 961 Eloise in South Lake Tahoe from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
There will be quality items including antiques and a silent auction that includes two tickets to a Giants vs. LA game and two tickets to the Giants vs. Pirates game which are located behind home plate in San Francisco (parking included).
All proceeds benefit the local Moose Lodge and Moose Charities
