Make Tahoe Work for You Summit

Event Date:
May 6, 2016 - 10:00am

Lake Tahoe’s beauty sets it apart from other world-class destinations – and so do its challenges. Seasonality, low-wage jobs, environmental sensitivities, and regulatory requirements for businesses sometimes make throwing in the towel seem like a more viable option than making Tahoe work for us or our businesses.

The Leadership Lake Tahoe Class of 2016 will hosting an all-day summit on May 6 that will provide participants with the tools needed to make Tahoe work for everyone.

The “Make Tahoe Work for You” Summit aims to give residents the tools they need to make Tahoe work for themselves and their businesses. The one-day Summit will help attendees understand the tremendous opportunities available in our community, as well as guide them on navigating through challenges.

Hosted by the Leadership Lake Tahoe Class of 2016, the one-day event will help people to understand the current, and future, professional opportunities available in the South Lake Tahoe community and help guide them through personal and organizational challenges.

The Summit features interactive keynotes with Donna Hartley and Tracy DeLuca, hands-on workshops and panel discussions to improve a person's professional self or for that of businesses and organizations.

There will also be an open house of professional opportunities available now and in the next few years. Lunch and networking happy hour included with registration fee.
