South Lake Tahoe suspicious death ruled a homicide

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The death of 61-year-old Jorge Lemus Campos of South Lake Tahoe has been ruled a homicide.
The investigation into Campos’ death began immediately. On December 17, Sacramento County Medical Examiner conducted an autopsy and ruled Camps’ death a homicide caused by blood loss resulting from blunt force trauma. They did not release information before Thursday due to the nature of the case.
Details are not being released at this time as this is an active investigation.
SLTPD does not believe there is any threat to the community at this time.
