Wednesday night starts the 14th season for American Idol and two local women will be part of it.
South Lake Tahoe entertainer Ashley Kepler and Molly Seals, from Carson City, both tried out for the singing competition.
According to the Reno Gazette Journal, Seals tried out in Reno in July and then moved to the Kansas City auditions in August. She isn't saying whether or not she makes it to the next round so viewers will have to watch to find out.
Messages to Kepler were not answered Wednesday so South Lake Tahoe residents will have to wait with the rest of the world to see if she goes on to the next round.
American Idol airs on FOX from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday and 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. to Thursday this week.
