With more than 260 inches of snow recorded and entering Lake Tahoe and the Sierra's snowiest months of the season, Kirkwood Mountain Resort is boasting one of the deepest snow packs with the promise of plenty of powder days to come.
To celebrate the season, Kirkwood is now offering the new Kirkwood Quad Pack, the most affordable way to access Lake Tahoe’s deepest snow and most authentic big-mountain ski and ride experience. The Kirkwood Quad Pack is four lift tickets that can be used any day of the 2012-13 winter season with limited restrictions*, for only $65 per lift ticket – a savings of up to $24 per day.
“Kirkwood is such a premium ski and snowboard experience, we’ve got a backcountry-like experience within resort boundaries,” said Casey Blann, Kirkwood’s General Manager. “Which makes the Kirkwood Quad Pack one of those deals that’s almost too good to be true – an inbounds adventure for just $65 a day. There will not be a less expensive opportunity to ski or ride Kirkwood for multiple days---one of those 'too good to pass up' opportunities".
Like any deal this good, the Kirkwood Quad Pack is only available for a limited time, starting Wednesday, January 16 and going through Sunday, February 10. It can only be purchased online at www.snow.com and is not available for purchase at the Kirkwood Ticket Office. Pricing for the Kirkwood Quad Pack is $259 for adults, $199 for seniors and teens, and $169 for children, is non-transferable, and only valid at Kirkwood Mountain Resort.
Also this month, the Kirkwood Experience Pass returns, making learning affordable, easy and accessible for those new to Kirkwood and the mountain lifestyle. The Experience Pass, available now for $299, includes everything beginners need for a successful first season, including daily lessons and equipment rental (five included with additional available for $25 each), discounted private lessons, two days at the Cross Country Center, and a limited season pass (not valid on Chairs 6 & 10).
Plenty of early season snow, outstanding grooming and the unbeatable learning terrain at Kirkwood’s Timber Creek base area have made for excellent learning conditions. The Timber Creek base area provides access to four designated lifts for beginner and developing skiers and snowboarders that access terrain ideal for progression.
