LTUSD seeks community members to help interview superintendent candidates

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - An Interview Advisory Panel is being formed to participate in in the process of interviewing Lake Tahoe Unified School District superintendent candidates on February 7, 2020.
If you are interested in serving on the community panel, please email Penny Pyle of Leadership Associates (the district’s search firm) at ppyle@leadershipassociates.org, or drop off your written submission at the District Office, 1021 Al Tahoe Blvd., with your response to the following:
- Why are you a good candidate for the interview advisory panel?
- Which stakeholder group do you represent? (i.e., SSC/PTA rep, staff member, student, cafecitos, community organization, self, etc.)
Submissions will be reviewed, and panelists selected, by the Board’s Ad Hoc Committee with the intent of forming a panel that is a proper representation of the community and its stakeholders.
The selection and employment of a superintendent rests entirely with the Board of Trustees. Panel results and comments from the interviews will be provided to the Board for consideration during deliberation.
All requests must be received by no later than 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 22.
