Lisa Maloff makes another donation to South Lake Tahoe community

Following on the heels of her generous donation to Tahoe Youth and Family Services and to the children of South Lake Tahoe during the holiday season, Mrs. Lisa Maloff this week presented Tahoe Youth and Family Services (TYFS) with a check for $150,000.

As she gave the check to TYFS Executive Director Karen Carey, and Board President Pam Wheeler and Board Treasurer Virginia Berry, Mrs. Maloff said, "The work you do for our children and young people is so important. I'm happy to help!"

It was just last month that the local philanthropist donned her Mrs. Santa Claus costume to hand out gifts to over 100 children in our community and donated $75,000 to help provide critical services.

“Mrs. Lisa Maloff is an exemplary example of personal generosity and dedication to our community,” said TYFS Board President Pam Wheeler. “She inspires me to be involved and contribute what I can whether it be volunteering, mentoring or donating. Her donation allows us to continue providing services and also gives us the platform to make others aware of what we do. Challenge yourself, what can you do to support Tahoe Youth and our community? Thank you Mrs. Maloff, the Angel of Tahoe."
