We're getting started at 9:00 am this morning with 8 lifts and tows, granting access to 44 open trials, 31 groomers and 6 fun parks to shred. Once patrol gives us the thumbs up, we plan to have all 5 backcountry gates open. Be sure to scope out the Mountain Conditions page at sierraattahoe.com for updates on the status of the gates. Facebook message from Kirkwood: Snow will be firm this morning to start out, freeze, thaw cycle has started with the on-piste riding well in the early AM and the off-piste softening throughout the day… North facing terrain is riding awesome, variable but you will find a few sweet spots for sure…Looking good @the Wood my friends as we approach the 300” season to date.
