Science Expo volunteers needed in both South Lake Tahoe and Incline Village

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The UC Davis Tahoe Environmental Research Center is seeking volunteers to assist with this year's Science Expo. No experience is necessary and the job is "fun and easy."

Volunteers will facilitate a hands-on science investigation station with small groups of elementary students. All the volunteers need is a willingness to have fun and share science with local youth. Training will be provided prior to the event.

This year’s theme is Earth and Space Science. Activities will focus on geology, weather and climate, space, and more. With all of the activities filling 30 stations, volunteers are encouraged to sign up for more than one spot.
