Message from Sierra: The pow party keeps on going, with Sierra receiving a nice 1" dusting to refresh the mountain overnight! Base depth ranges from 65-136 inches, and current season snowfall count is at 399 inches! That's right, we have already more than TRIPLED our total snowfall from last season, and it looks like after this next storm we will make it over the 400" mark, woohoooo! We're starting at 9 am this morning with 8 lifts + tows spinning, accessing 44 open trails, 31 cords, and 6 parks. The forecast is calling for a variable day as another storm begins to roll in, so come prepared for changing conditions before the pow comes through with the quickness this weekend! It is currently lightly snowing at the top of the mountain, and Highways 50, 88, and 89 all currently have chain control restrictions. Scope out http://www.dot.ca.gov/ for the most up-to-date road conditions. While the next 2 days might see some varied weather, that only means more fresh pow is on the way this weekend, bruh!
